My first post!

I have only owned my MDA compact for a few days after moving from my palm I have used for years.
One problem I have is that im installng most stuff on a SD card, but when i remove the card, the icon for the apps stay on the PPC, and when I click on the icon, it just says it cant find it.  On my palm, when i removed the card, it removed teh icon until i ut it back in, anyway to do this on PPC.

The other odd thing is my last palm was a sony clie running at 66mhz, but my 400 odd mhz htc ppc seems much much slower!  I guess that because it has windows on it

What a lot of people do is setup a shortcut folder for the card, so that all the apps on the card are found in the same folder in the start menu. Then, if you have different cards with different apps, make a folder for each. Don't have the card in; don't go into the folder!
