has anyone seen any apps that add profiles to windows mobile?

rather than just the volume slider.

on some of the "cough cough" simple phones, they have a really cool feature that you can schedule the profile change so that, e.g. the phone goes on silent from 9-5 while you're at work, but goes back onto loud at 5:30 when you leave?

its a really cool idea, and there must be something out there that will do the same.

Hi Wozbacca,

I've been using bretto's Ppcprofiles, which I recommend. He's made a couple of versions of it. The basic one is available here: www.handango.com

There's also a more enhanced version, which I haven't tried. The beta for that is available here:

Hi,

I downloaded a .cab file from here: (Always useful to find .cabs when you're at work and they won't let you install on your PC. Miserable bas***ds)

http://download.pdassi.de/files/24785/PPCP...PPC2003_ARM.CAB

Anyway, I've been messing about with the settings but can't get Bluetooth to activate automatically.

Anyone got any ideas why this isn't working?

Do any of the profile utilities also control WiFi? PocketZen does Bluetooth, which is a great idea, but I'd really like the same for WiFi.

Hi All

The bluetooth functionality provided with PPCProfiles(-Pro) is limited to the Microsoft bt stack. I would imagine your using the widcomm stack on your device. An easy way to tell is by the bt icon. when disabled the MS one is a normal bt icon with a diagonal red line thu it. The widcomm one is a normal bt icon with a small red circle and cross in it at the lower right.

If more people support PPCProfiles I'll be more than happy to provide for the other bt stacks. But for now sorry guys I just cant justify it.

Cheers

Hi Bretto

Have been using your product for a week now (licenced) on my M2000 and think its great. My only wish would be the ability to control WiFi from the profiles. Any likelyhood of this anytime soon?

Hi anthonyblack

Thanks for your support. ;)

Yes wifi is something I want to incorporate in the near future.

If you join in on the thread in the link below it should keep you informed on whats happening. There is also a beta trial on at the moment for a new version with much more support for wm2003se and many enhancements both internally and externally.

Any wish lists or comments you wish to provide are very welcome.
