However, whilst playing with the options the close title bar X (the close) keeps failing - i.e. doesn't work. Infact, the whole area at the top and bottom of the screen seems to get disabled. So I tend to install them, then uninstall them, and then install again and everything is fine. Also things like that make sure they are installed in the phone not on the storage card. Guest Ian Posted March 14, 2005 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I've not had any problems with it either - only thing I've spotted with the "X" is that it won't detect and close ActiveSync, but everything else has been fine. Guest Beef_UK Posted March 15, 2005 Report Share Posted March 15, 2005 I've had a similar problem with spb pocket plus, screen keeps freezing, normally the top and bottom bars freeze, but the start button works, then the whole thing freezes. Guest garethr Posted March 17, 2005 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 I had the same problem - it would sometimes freeze, usually on the Pocket Plus setup screen, and the X button wouldnt close it down. However, I found out that the 'select' button (in the centre of the 4-way pad) still worked, and I could close it down by pressing that. Thats certainly saved me a lot of soft resets!
