This is a great topic....thanks to it have now got great set of tones.

Use the 24 ring as main ringtone, and Cartman for the text and voicemail tones.

I use the poppler song (the advert music when they sell them at fishy joe's) from Futurama, it's long but fun.

In a few minutes a computer can make a mistake so great that it would have taken many men many months to equal it.

Hi guys. Im new to the forums and would just like to know how you would get some of these fantastic message tones onto you computer to put onto your mobile. Also has anybody got any good websites maybe for message tones and funny ring tones? I used to have one for when people called me and it just used to say "ring ring, ringy ringy ring ring" with a womens voice it was so funny but I cannot find them anywere

Thanks and reply soon so I can get downloading, Adam

Welcome to the forum :o

Generally you would right-click on the file name and save to somewhere on your PC.
Then connect the phone to the PC with the data cable and use ActiveSync to copy them across to the folder \Storage \Application Data \Sounds. They will then show up in the Settings list.

This is the method for Windows Smartphones but the N90 has a Symbian operating system so, if you want to add the tones to that, I'm afraid I don't think you can use the same format files.

Must have a proper look at Nokia PC Suite soon as.... :o

In Firefox, if I (left-)click on the file name I get a box with 3 options :
1. Open with
2. Save to disc
3. Do this automatically etc blah

I select 2 and then get a box letting me choose a name and location (Save in)

That's the right-click menu, as in my first post ! :o
Select 'Save link as' - same thing as 'Save target as' in IE

You'll have to disable the media player, they are not direct links but links to php code that then downloads the file, bit sucky imo.

Hey guys, great thread!

Does anyone have the sound from the Totally Spies cartoon when their Compowder things ring?

By the way, that "Receiving incoming transmission" is from the game Starcraft by Blizzard Software.

Thanks
G

Hey,

Does anyone have the wrong answer buzzer sound? I've been searching google but can't find the one I want.

I THINK they used to play it on some game shows and for anyone who watches basketball they sometimes play it when the guy misses a free throw...
