Assigning Ringtones for contacts

Hi all,

is there any API available to assign ringtone for a particular contact.

i am able to use functions such as get_FirstName and put_FirstName

to operate with contact details, but not able to find any function related to custom ringtone.

and if any API is available ,in which SmartPhone SDK (2002,2003..) it is supported.

i need input on this
