Guest Pondrew Posted August 4, 2005 Report Share Posted August 4, 2005 Ok, I'd better add something here. A Qtek 9090 will more then likely not accept an I-Mate rom. On starting the update you'd probably get an ID error or similar. This is due to the I-Mate updater looking for an I-Mate ID that your Qtek obviously hasn't got. Exception may be if you've network unlocked your Qtek 9090 with www.imei-check.com as I've heard this also unlocks it to any updates intended for the device (ie, any Blue Angel rom). You should check this with imei-check first to be sure. There is another way round this but it is not something you want to do unless you're very sure of what you're doing and even then you need to be aware that if it goes wrong you could kill the device (at least temporarily).
