Hi All,

New user to Pocket PC not used to no keyboard on the phone (ETEN M500).  Love the software and features but feel lacking one thing :- an SMS program that can be controlled on screen, i.e the buttons appear and act similar to other phones, (with or without predictive text, love to go out and just type with one hand).  Open source/freeware/commercial application suggestions welcome.  Other than this really happy with new pocket pc phone, even got a wifi sd card that make surfing the net amazing!

Regards,
Michael

I've never used it but think what you're looking for is often referred to as Intellitype and/or Phonepad.

Sure one of the Magician users will be able to tell you more...

You should have PhonePad (or Intellipad oe whatever) pre-installed as an input option. Tap the keyboard icon at the bottom of the relevant screen to show the list.
You might want to try this as an alternative for photo contacts / SMS :
Phone Plus ! at PocketGear

Hey

it's called intellipad or dialpad. (isn't standard on the eten disco stu).

it's made by htc for their phones (imate etc). do a search on google, or some htc forums. there are copies around. i even got my hands on one with a nice black skin (the default one is yucky green).
