Guest itolson Posted August 19, 2005 Report Share Posted August 19, 2005 I have a C550 with dust under the Screen. Why oh Why has this not been fixed, What a fundamental mistake yet again. I am sending it back for a replacement but I bet they still have the problems. I am thinking of getting a refund on it as My old c500 wdust problem as a big issues for me.. Even my philips home phone handsets do not get dust in behind the screen, most of the nokias i have had do not have the same problem either. ORANGE must fix this fundamental issue, if they do not we will have to vote with our wallets and not buy them until the issue has been addresed. I still cannot believe that its still a problem on a fixed case phone....... Take it to bits to clean but void your warranty, if you do not clean it don't even bother trying to use it after a few months in the sun as you can hardly see it. Maybe there should be a brail lcd available so that the spv's can be used when the dust sets in. PLEASE ORANGE FIX THE C550 for all of us smartphone addicts. I haven't had a dust problem on mine, although it could be because I accidentaly 'washed' it in the toilet. Oh, and in a pint of Dr Pepper.
