Guest montana1 Posted August 20, 2005 Report Share Posted August 20, 2005 My reason for wanting to pair with my pocket pc is that I want to download from the mpx220 and upload to the mpx220 SMS messages. It's far easier for me to write sms messages on the Ipaq and then upload it to the mpx220 for transmission. To do this I have a dedicated sms program in the Ipaq. My problem is that the mpx220 and the ipaq does not want to pair. I initiate the pairing proccess from the Iaq. They can see each other but after I enter the pairing code in the mpx it just hangs and the ipaq informs that there is no connection. I've tried this more than a dozen times without any success. I've also tried to start the pairing from the mpx220's side but also without any success. Pairing the Ipaq with my wife's Sony Ericsson Z600 is always successful. So, my deduction is that the problem lies with the mpx220 i.e. it is a smartphone problem. The ROM of the mpx220 is version 1.360 (South African).
