WMP10 Skin for Car use

Hi,

Just wondering if someone could make a new skin for WMP10 that has nice big buttons to make it easy to use in the car when held in a cradle whilst still being able to view album art or videos.

Thanks to anyone who has any input on this! :o

Yeah I saw that link, but not much on there of any great use :o

Used to use tech orange on my old iPaq but that didn't support album art, so now looking for something that can display that also

Well ... I just got an iPaq h6430, and I already hocked it up to my car's Pioneer CD player.

It's amazing.

I made some Windows Media Players skins for windows, a while ago.

I will see if I can make the same for the mobile version, as I will be using it in my car ;)

What do you think of this skin?

I made it this morning.

The buttons are huge, and the actual area to which the buttons react, is larger then the actual circles.

I tested it with my fingers in the car and works miracles.

I use TCPMP (betaplayer) for everything! Windows media player is never used on my vario (not on my c500 either) works in landscape mode. play's every popular format including Divx

ok it's not the most beautifull screen to look at, but does the job perfectly. and if you play full screen musicvideos you don't look at the skin ;)

the thing is. you can map your keys.

play is standard just touch center of your screen and it pauses like that aswell.

I mapped the rest like this.

left soft key: Previous

right softkey: next

up : volume up

down : volume down

left : search backwards

right : search forward

no problem using it. (just haven't hooked it up to my audio equipment yet)

Yes, you are right ... but some people prefer to "see" the controls.

It's a matter of taste, after-all.

I connected my PPC to my car's audio (Pioneer with 4 speakers, 2 tweeters) ... awesome experience ;)

I've got a car stereo that takes cd cards (or mini-sd card in a adaptor) but sadly no audio-input method :D

but do have 4 speakers and an amplifier with 2 12inch subwoofers :)

nice sound hehe

ah it's nothing to admire or anything. Two 12 inch woofers in 2 red tubes filling up my trunk... a very ordinary stereo with SD capability. nothing worth showing off... trust me.... but sounds incredible :) :D :)
