cant sync anymore

hey,

i just installed wm2003 after being sick of all the freezez in 2002 and hoping 2003 would be any better.

but now when i want to sync to my PC i cant, activesync doenst detect my phone anymore i have also tried the newest version of activesync still no luck.

it does seem to charge, i even hear the windows sound detecting an USB device but no sync :).

can anyone help me out?

try to delete any existing partnerships in Activesync apart from that

try to hard reset the mpx200.

thanks for the reply, ive already tried a hard reset and that didnt work so il try to look into that partnership stuff.

another thing, is 2003 even worse then 2002? im getting sick of this now it freezez more the before when starting my phone sometime takes 5 min or not at all, when listening to mp3 it suddenly powered off after a min with the batterys still half full.

i take my phone out of my pocket open it and the screen is black and stays that way, wtf? and thats only 2 days of using 2003......

They're both flawed to varying degrees. Perhaps using an illegal, unsupported ROM wasn't such a good idea, but you're stuck it now as I don't think there's any ROM images of the original firmware (there's some for 2002, but they're generic I think).

probely true, but still even with the original rom it sucked, i wouldnt even call this a phone anymore because a phone you can actually call people and recieve, this is just something that runs windows on it. i guess that can never be a good thing, so much money but they still make bad OS.
