I have just ordered the Orange SPV M500 phone / pda and had intended to buy a 'sunvisor' bluetooth handsfree. According to Orange it is only compatible with one Bluetooth and that is the type you have to hang off your ear.

When I look at other websites the one I want is compatible with the Imate jam and the XDA Mini which to my knowledge is just a different badge on the same device? Does this make sense.......if the M500 is Bluetooth v 1.2 shouldn't it work with most devices :??:

Many thanks

Simon

Simon,

I have owned my M500 for about 6 months now and have had no problem with the Bluetooth connections. It connects readily to Nokia phones, my laptop (via its dongle, Tom Tom, and I have used 3 different types of Bluetooth headsets with it. So the answer is yes it should work with most devices.

I have found most things that are compatible with the M1000 including programmes work with the M500.

What you need to check is the Bluetooth "Profile" that the Sunvisor thingy uses.

I dont know if the M500 supports "Handsfree", but it does support "Headset"
