Orange M500 missing items?

I've had my Orange (UK) SPV M500 24 hours now and I'm pleased with it on the whole. However there are one or two niggles....can anyone point me in the right direction?

1. SMS delivery reports. The M500 tells you a message is sent but I can't find an option to do the traditional delivery report. I'm not prepared to prefix every text with RCT either, so that's not an option.

2. Profiles. I have to work in a number of differnt types of locations and on my old C500 the profiles were invaluable in allowing me to have the phone make noises or not according to where I was. I can't see any mention of profiles anywhere on the M500, are there any and if so where?

3. EmailWiz, TrueFax and Zip appear to be missing from the programs menu as described in the manual. I realise you can setup alternate email accounts in messaging direct, so thats a reasonable alternative, but where are the other 2?

4. Custom sounds. Is there a way of using sounds on my SD card for alerts and notifications without putting them in the Windows directory? I realise you can use sounds on the card for ringtones, which is fine.

TIA

Graham

Well, lots o you have read but no ones replied, but I've found some answers of my own after some digging.....

1. Delivery reports have to be set on a message by message basis, it's in the options menu when youre composing a text

2. There's a very good program called PPC Profiles Pro available on this site that actually works better than anything I've seen before....the only thing I'd like to see added is a way of altering text alerts from there.....

3 & 4.....up to you to help........

You can alter text alerts in PPC Profiles Pro.

I don't have it installed at the moment, but it's in the Setup area on the menu - I think it's something like "Setup notifications". In there you can customise the ringtone, message tone etc for each profile

Bear in mind that these settings override the default Sounds and Notifications settings.

I didn't get TrueFax with mine, and I never read the manual so I don't know what it says about it.

From what I remember there is some issue with faxing, and the fax software I read about (may not have been TrueFax) had to turn on Flight Mode, send the fax, then trun Flight Mode back off. A bit of a hack by the sounds of it.

I'd advise checking the forums for any fax software you look at before spending your cash.

Ringtones from the SD card I don't know about TBH. There is an app that does that for Smartphone, so you could try it out and see what happens.
