Here's some pictures taken of some Dopods from the first shipment to Thailand during the last week of December. There is an O2 Atom in the middle for comparison.

You're right - these are the best camera-phone images that I've seen since my Nokia 7650 (which bizarrely produced better images than my M500)

There's also some really nice options:

"Sport" mode lets you take 10 shots in quick succession - perfect for trying to get the kids.

"Edit" options let you rotate and crop images (amongst other things) on the device. That's a nice feature.

Ah. The MDA Compact II has the same new features. As well as Sport mode there's Burst mode which I think works in a similar way...

In Burst Mode , the camera will keep taking picture as long as you are pressing the camera button. It will store the pictures in the RAM and when you release the button you will see a message saying saving to the memory which is the ROM.
