Hi all just got this Holox BT321 GPS unit....which is a nightmare to bond with my MDA PRO

I do the normal stuff to pair with the BT321 it flashin blue to say its bonded..then about 15 seconds later the blue light stays on..as if its not paired and needs to be done again....is there a special way to switch it off to keep the pairin setting in the Bt321 .....as i paired my hands free head set no problem....or is there a fault with the Bt321 as i not tried to connect a bluetooth gps unit up before...or..do i also need to set up the incoming and outcoming thing after the pairin..so it works..

My set up MDA PRO

WM5

Destinator Sat nav

Any help be good...

Ive just bought the same receiver - should arrive saturday - and Im going to be using it with an MDA Pro. So Id be interested to know if you managed to sort it out...

I was looking round the forum and found this

http://www.modaco.com/TomTom_5_on_SPV_M500...em-t238188.html

which may help if youre still stuck.

Let me know if you sorted it. I might need some tips ;)

u wanna tell us what happens when u try??

U need to pair it by adding a new device (start, settings, connections, bluetooth, devices, new partnership), waiting for your PPC to find it, it may ask you for a passkey which will most likely be 0000. Once it is paired (which should be the easy part) you'll need to set up the com ports (the other tab at the bottom) and select new outgoing port. Select the GPS unt from that list then select a com port to use (I use com7 but I'm using a different receiver and tomtom)

If it doesn't work then tell us where you're stuck or noone can help!

Shoot over to Xda Developers and take a look at THIS thread... Should see you right! :) I know the device may not be the same, but it should translate.

I too have a Holox BT-321.

i was racking my brains trying to figure out why it wasnt working correctly.

I had the same problem.

To fix it upgrade to ttn 5.21

Apparently ttn 5 does not support generic bluetooth gps devices, only tomtom ones.

5.21 does.

also, personally i have the current COM settings.

BTGPS74R (COM6) - NOT SECURE!

Incoming Port (COM7) - ALSO NOT SECURE

Hope it helps
