Guest clive_j
How damproof are they? Well, in a heavy downpour I dropped my Pro in a small river running down the road. It was screen down and the water was about the same depth as the 'lid'. Hastily retrieved it, removed the battery and dried the outside as best as I could. There was no visible water under the battery, on the SD card or the SIM card. I let it all dry out for a couple of hours before putting it all back together. To my great surprise it worked!!! Seemingly no ill effects. How damproof are they? Much more than I thought - thank goodness (although it is insured with CSC). Clive

Guest rickyburke
most electronics are very good at recovering from water damage these days, as long as you remove the battery, take it apart, (if possible) and let it all air dry, most things will carry on working fine!
