SPV C550 GPRS connection

I use my SPV C550 to download traffic info from the Internet for my TomTom 700:

TomTom --> BT --> SPV C550 --> GPRS --> Internet

Whenever a SMS is send to my phone or someone rings in or if I make a call, I need to do a reboot of my phone in order to get the TomTom connection working again. I didn't have this problem with the C500 and I wouldn't mind to block incomming calls, as I have a carphone as well.

Has anybody experienced this as well and found a sollution, or does anybody has any ideas about how to fix this? (except for using my C550 of course...)
