We have done the necessary adaptations to PocketTV (MPEG Movie Player) to support the Motorola Q.  You need version 1.2.8 or later.

Performances on the Motorola Q appear excellent: Video encoded at 500 Kbit/sec in 320x240 resolution play in fullscreen at full frame-rate (up to 30 frames/sec).

You can download lots of cool (and free!) MPEG-1 video clips from http://www.pocketmovies.net.

You can download PocketTV from fairdeal.modaco.com:
