sometimes i wonder if the mpx200 really has 65k color screen. Just put this picture into the phone and see how it displays:

The grey gradient is so garbled i think its using 256 colors... Is this supposed to be the cruel reality of 65k?

It can be down to the way the OS or ROM has been written, if it is not designed to utilise the screen then you will see poor quality image.
The mio devices supposidly have a 128k display but it is still limited by the OS.
