Two days ago I received this updated version of PocketSNES from a generous guy who wishes to remain anonymous. It is based on the SNES9x ver. 1.39. I ran Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island with the emulator on my Vodafone V1640 (HTC Universal). Both ROMs ran smoothly without sound on, and I mapped the controller buttons with the keyboard. So now my Universal is a bit like the Nintendo DS, except it only has one screen and only runs smoothly without sound on. Have a go anyway - simply extract the zipped file, copy both the .exe file and .dll file onto your device and then run it. BTW the boring stuff: you should know that you can only download the ROMs provided that you have bought a copy of the game. Guest dnavarro77 Posted June 19, 2006 Report Share Posted June 19, 2006 Not working for me..WM5 PPC6700. Crashes as soon as I load a ROM. Nothing appears to work but the Startup screen and the menus. Is there any other working SNES-Emulator for the HTC-Universal? Is it possible to run SNES-Games with sound and good FPS on HTC-Uni. ? Within the next days I'll receive my Universal and I am searching for some good software for my Universal. But the problem is that I have not found any emulator which definetely works on WM5.
