I have imported 2 sound files into Storage\Application Data\Sounds and have used one for a ring tone and it works fine, but I want to use the other as an new SMS message alert and it wont show up in the list for selection. Guest Gamer X Posted August 26, 2006 Report Share Posted August 26, 2006 You can try setting the MP3 as your alert sound with RJV Tonesetter: http://www.airfagev.com/forum_view.asp?msg_id=169626 I was able to set a WMA as my alarm that way, when it usually only allows WAV -- maybe this'll let you use MP3s, too.
