Does anyone know if a Hard Reset would remove a SIM unlock performed by Orange on an M500?

I was having problems unlocking my phone using the "other" methods available so gave in and got Orange to do it for me.

It worked fine and am now using an O2 sim.

Unfortunately after hard resetting before getting the phone un-officially unlocked, I've lost access to the MMS application so can't send MMS.

I was hoping a Hard Reset would force the phone to reload it on reset from the extended rom.

Can anyone help ? Will a reset put the lock back on ? or does anyone know how to get the MMS stuff back without a reset ?

A hard reset will not change the SIM state of a device.

When you do a hard reset should you  leave the SIM in the device?
