Hi,

i have a hp ipad rx3715 in chinese. The official hp website provides the english rom for download. When i tried to flash the rom it didn't work. I am absolutely sure the model of the rom matches that of the unit (rx3715). Does the rom update prevent installation on an existing rom of a different language?

Can i get around it by sth like registry edit?
