I tried to update my sda2 with i-mate sp5m rom taken from imate site. During installation the program has crashed (71%). I had a backup of sda rom but i can't go in engineering mode (3 colors mode); when i plug usb connector the screen appear white and remain so until i don't leave the battery.
Please help me.

The T-Mobile UK SDA II is an HTC Hurricane.

The QTEK 8300 you mention in the topic title isn't actually a Hurricane at all (the QTEK 8200 is) so I've edited the topic title accordingly.

Now onto the bad news. The i-mate SP5m is an HTC Tornado and I'm afraid it's been proved that the HTC Hurricane's bootloader is corrupted by all attempts to install HTC Tornado (i-mate SP5m) roms on it.

So I'm afraid your device is likely not fixable without specialist repair which won't be free. Sorry
