No, contrary to the title, this isn't a new-fangled implement to assist you at posh restaurants...

Priced at £20, the SIM unlock allows you to use any network's SIM card in your device, and is available here. MoDaCo Plus members, of course, receive a 10% discount on the unlock.

Remember that post-unlock you will need to put in your Virgin Mobile SIM periodically to retrieve licences for TV content, so keep it handy!

Don't Virgin give free unlocks to their customers? I know that on PAYG phones they will arrange an unlock once you've topped up at least £30, on contract I would have thought you'd only have to be with them a month or two.

isnt that a little steep? most other phones unlock for much less..

i desperatly need to unlock mine as i am moving to another country soon, and will need to swap sims
