I bought it on SD card and expected I could just copy the contents to my micro SD card and that would be it. Not quite that easy, no auto-install occurring. Has anybody else managed this? The box says it is compatible. When I have used the file explorer to run TTN.cab the programme starts but says no maps found. Guest awarner (MVP) Posted December 23, 2006 Report Share Posted December 23, 2006 Welcome to the site :) Just copying the files over "as is" should work and not be a problem, make sure you have not created sub folders. Next check the My Documents folder on the phone, you should have a folder called TomTom. Next make sure there's a file in it, any file should do, then after running TomTom a CurrentMap.dat file will be created and the other file can then be removed. Had the MDA for a couple of weeks now and have found this forum very useful. I will have another play with this tomorrow as its the last works christmas meal tonight :) The CD has satellite imagery and voices I think, but when I try to install these (using Tomtom Home) it tells me to insert CD 0. Next make sure there's a file in it, any file should do, then after running TomTom a CurrentMap.dat file will be created and the other file can then be removed.
