Ok, the chances are that I will get an Artemis (in O2 form) as soon as my current contract expires. So I've been doing a bit of research.

I spotted the mini USB port that this device had, and it's like nothing I've ever seen before! Does this mean I'm not going to be able to use a regular Mini USB cable for:

• connecting to PC
  
• charging (using HTC wizard or moto charger)
  
• charging (from car or solar adaptor)

...unless I use the rather bulky-looking splitter/adaptor that was posted in another thread?

Is this a new-style standard USB port or a completely propriatory one invented by HTC?

This is going to make things difficult.

You can use a normal mini usb to charge the difference with this connector it that on one side it has additional pins for the headset.
You can also buy headset adaptors so you can use your own headset if you prefer.
