Guest hondaguy Posted February 26, 2007 Report Share Posted February 26, 2007 hi, i tried to search for an answer, but could not find one. i have a problem with the dialer when i am trying to find a contact by spelling the name from the homescreen. by the time i press the 3rd letter a CONFIRM screen pops up asking me to confirm that i want to dial a certain contact, which is usually the wrong contact. this means i have to press NO then resume spelling the name again so that i can find the person i was originally looking for. i have had several wm5 phones and only the s620 seems to do this. does anyone know how to get around this? someone in the howardforums suggested that it had something to do with the cotacts that are on my sim card. any help would be appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you are looking for a contact called "eatery" you type "E" (which is also the no 2) then "A" which is also the # then it will try to dial gerryR.
