I have to confess i've never really been a Yahoo! person.
I use Google for searching, Exchange for mail, I'm not really into FlickR etc... so i've kinda missed out on the Yahoo! thang. Just lately however i've had a bit more exposure, firstly due to their 1.0 release of Go, and secondly because when I was looking around for a new free mail account for my dad, Yahoo! turned out to provide the best solution for his needs.
If you're a Windows Mobile'r, you've now got a real geniune reason to learn a bit more about Yahoo!, with their release of Yahoo! Go 2.0.
Initially released as a 'Gamma' version (think better than Alpha and Beta but not final!) for Portrait Smartphones only (with landscape + Pocket PCs to follow), the new application provides some very funky features, and is actually set to be installed in ROM on future HTC devices.

It seems that Yahoo! are trying to take just about every internet medium, and optimise it for your device - whether that be mail, web, search, RSS, photos or whatever. It's a brave claim... i'm installing it on my Tornado now and will let you know how I fare shortly!
