Guest neilg Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 (edited) Hi All, I am drowning under a sea of information and since there are lots of Microsoft experts here thought you may be able to help. The simple task I wish to perform is changing the registered email address with my passport account (now live account). Ideally I would like to change the address as follows: old address: [email protected], to [email protected] the domain isn't changing, just the first part of the email. I have had the account for several years and would just like to use my regular email address rather than the one I originally signed up for. Ideally I could keep the old one, and just associate a new email address with the account which I could use to login and give out in the future. I do not really want to sign up a new account ands then have to re-advise all my contacts to use a new email address/Live Messenger login for me. (not the associate alternate email address function for a live account does NOT achieve this as far as I am aware). I can't be the first person that wants to change these top level details. If I can;t do this, it is possible to create a new account and automatically migrate all the old details to it? Thanks to anyone out there who knows, and I am sure there must be info on this but I am going round in circles searching to any pointer would be appreciated. Cheers N Edited March 20, 2007 by neilg
