In this press release, broadband solutions specialist ZyXEL have announced their V660 Smartphone.

Specs are as follows...

The mobile phone also includes a 2.0 megapixel camera, video and MP3 player, 64mb on-board memory, a MicroSD expandable memory slot for further storage capacity and comes with Skype software pre-installed.

Underwhelming i'm sure you'll agree -particularly the 1.9" screen - but the device does have a trick up it's sleeve...

The device is expected to hit the market in the second half of 2007.

Surely it would be cheaper and have a wider appeal if ZyXEL just sold the application?  That bit sounds cool but i would imagine you'll have to shell out a fortune for a crap (albeit wifi enabled) handset as well...?
