I've only gona and scratched the screen on my 5 day old M700

I know I should've got a screen protector on there straight away, but what can you do.

Does anyone have any idea what it might cost me to replace?

Try something like Polywatch which will remove scratches from plastic

Thanks for that. However, I'm not sure that would be suitable for a touch screen.

It works fine.
I have used it on previous Ipaqs and other phone/pda screens and it gets the scratches out and leaves the screen clear

It can be used on any clear plastic, its just the softer the plastic, the lighter you have to rub.

I might 'risk it for a biscuit', at least if it completely buggers my screen I can get it replaced. Might email HTC to find out what it will cost.
