Okay...I switched back to the mpx200 after serveral months on the SDA...when I charged it up (MPX) the date and time had been reset. I corrected the date/time and later powered off the phone. When I turned it back on the alarm was going off and like ten alarms were listed on the screen. In the year and half of having this phone I've never experienced this. Now, every time I power it off I get the alarms...and when the battery is discharged and off for a while I have to reset the date/time. Any suggestions or knowledge what's causing this?

the internal back up battery is now dead...you need to replace it if thats possible

It is possible but you will need to strip the phone apart to get to the battery.
