Guys...am struggling with this. I have paired the devices. However as soon as i try the 'connect' button on my i600 Internet sharing screen...it gives an error message saying that the other device has reset the connection.

Very frustrating. I've got TOm TOM on the Dell and it used to access the internet through my SP3i to download traffic updates etc. Cant get that done now. The i600 seems to have taken me a step backwards !

I don't know the i600 but on my hermes, I simply turn on BT, then select BT in the internet sharing option and click connect.

Then on laptop (Vista), select "make new connection" and select BT PAN and it offers up the device. I select it and hey presto.

I had the exact same problem and spent days trying to sort it out without success. I finally decided that as I normally bill at £300 per hour it would be cheaper to go to halfords and buy a dedicated unit. Bought a top of the range garmin and haven't looked back (although it seems keener to drive down tiny unclassified roads than the tomtom).
