I am running a Samsung i600 with Goodlink Software as well as with MS Activesync (MSFP) to sync up the Pocket Outlook Contacts database. The i600 is a great device and Goodlink does email very well and so I live with the inconvenience and complexity of having both Good and Activesync working together. Someday I hope Goodlink will work with an open contacts database but I need to have two contacts DB on the phone because the SMS application access Pocket Outlook. Goodlink does not do SMS
In any case, I have noticed several times now, certain entries in my contacts database dissapearing. I know that they are not being explicitly deleted in Exchange or on the device as I have set confirm delete to on - yet the contacts are dissapearing. Just plain not show up. I cant reproduce this problem consistently but it has now happened more than 10 times in the last few months and so I know that this problem exists. In fact it happened again to me today. I notice this when I want to go call someone and then when I type their name in the contacts list, it does not show up. Then when I go check my outlook contacts on my PC, the contact is not there as well (which is what you would expect given that goodlink syncs the contacts with Exchange).
Has anyone heard or seen this problem. Is there a way to turn on some form of logging to see what is happening here. Any other thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated
