I've been trying to send files from my Mac to my Blackjack and having troubles.

1. My Mac will not recognize my phone

2. That's pretty much it. Just wondering if the version of bluetooth that is on my computer is older then the version on my phone or if it is just because it's a windows based cell phone and a mac computer. any help would be much appreciated.

1: Turn on your Mac's Bluetooth module, and make sure the phone's BlueTooth module is on, and is in Discoverable mode. The two devices should be able to locate each other then.

2: BlueTooth is very backwards compatible, much like USB. BT2.0 can speak to BT1.0, provided they both support the same profiles. Given that we're talking about Cingular and OS X here, that ought to be a good combination, provided that Samsung didn't cripple the device.

Make sure you have 'Accept Incoming Beams' too or you won't be able to send files. When the mac tells you that the file type won't be accepted by the device, hit 'Send Anyway'!
