Earlier tonight i found a program that unlocks all the start menu items so that i can move, delete and better organize them. During the process of getting rid of all the cingular crap i accidentally deleted the "messaging.lnk" from the directory. Now all of a sudden the messaging shortcut button that usually takes you to the txt messaging and email menu doesn't seem to work. how do i go about recreating the message shortcut and will that re-enable the shortcut button?

The link just points to TMail.exe
Copy the following into Notepad
Save it as Messaging.lnk
Copy it to \Windows\Start Menu\ on your device
If you wanted to you could change it so that the hardware button points to your SMS Inbox, or your Outlook Inbox instead using this:
Copy the following into Notepad
Save it as Messaging.lnk
Copy it to \Windows\Start Menu\ on your device
99#\Windows\Tmail.exe
If you wanted to you could change it so that the hardware button points to your SMS Inbox, or your Outlook Inbox instead using this:
99#\Windows\Tmail.exe -service "ActiveSync"
