What's the biggest memory card the M700 can take, I suspect it's just 2Gb?

Cheers

Well thanks - inundated with replies!!!

Has anyone got a 4gb working in their M700? I'm hanging on from buying one until I find out. Please someone let me know so I can get one ordered.

Thanks

Matt

Hello there.

Firstly

There's an 8Gb for sale can the M700 take it?

What does that mean? Have you seen an 8gb mini-sd for sale?

Ok sorry no one replied, I don't usually browse this forum but saw the topic. It depends which kind of 4gb mini-sd you are purchasing? If its an SDHC type then I have no idea but I strongly believe that your M700 will be able to take the 4gb mini-sd I purchased from MobyMemory as my Wizard uses it fine and the Trinity is a much much newer device so I believe you shouldn't have any problems!

If you are purchasing it from MobyMemory I think they give money back if the card doesn't work in your device but there website so you have a guarantee there and you can just downgrade ;)

Select from the widest range of mini-SD (mini SD) Memory Cards memory cards for the P3600 mobile phone from HTC, up to 4GB capacity. Expand your memory for today for more music, video, games and apps on the move.

Hope I have been of some use!

I bought a 2gb Kingston card in the end, mobymemory and the verdict on spvdevelopers forum was that 4gb were troublesome. Shame though, can't replace my iPod and syncing TV is memory intensive.

Ah ok. It tends to vary with devices.

I find the 4gb is a nice replacement for an MP3 Player, I love that all i need are my Wireless Stereo Headphones and I have music ;) Although I still find 4gb isn't enough for music! Would much prefer an 8gb.

Look on the xda-developers forums they have information there. Apparently, 4Gb MiniSD or MiniSDHC cards work for a while, then corrupt and no longer work on the Trinity. I wouldn't expect the 8Gb version to work either.

I think a handful of people have had success though with the non-sdhc MiniSD 4Gb cards, although it does depend on what ROM you use too.

My TOPRAM 4GB mini SD worked for 6 months in my Trin then died, I've now bought a 2GB Sandisk.

One thing I noticed straight away is the improved speed in starting TomTom.
