I have seen that F-secure and McAfee have released their antivirus for WM5...Is it necessary to have an anti-virus on the qtek 8500 or any WM5 devices?

Absolutely not. The only way you can get a virus is install unverified cracked�
software. But I still dont know any virus on the WM Smartphone platform.
