Does anyone know how to change the default Voice Assist to another speech recognition software?
I'm hungarian, so the built-in software can't help me a lot (although Voice Assist is developed by a hungarian team ;) ). Because of the language I can only use softwares that require training.
I installed Cyberon Voice Speed Dial before, but it is not started when I press the bluetooth headset's button, I have to start the program manually.
How can I activate it instead of Voice Speed Dial? Any registry modification?

thanks

I'm getting closer :(
So, it is VITO VoiceDialer 2.0 that could replace Voice Assist, the problem mentioned above is now a bit reduced, but there are some other problem.
VITO VoiceDialer installs under /Program Files/Vito/VoiceDialer, and I couldn't find a way to run voicedialer.exe instead of voiceassist.exe (pressing the BT headset button starts "/Windows/Voice Assist.lnk" somehow, I couldn't figure out where this is configured... and it starts "voiceassist.exe")

"Voice Assist.lnk" resides in /Windows directory of i600, so it seemed easy to modify the .lnk file to link to VITO's application. But turns out that "Voice Assist.lnk" is a ROM file (new type to me), so the result is Acces denied ;)
Question: How can I edit ROM type files? Or is there any workaround? The proper way were to modify some config file or registry, so BT headset button starts voicedialer.exe.

You need to App Unlock your phone. Search around for it. It's called SDA unlock.. Anyway, the ROM is the part of your phone that never changes. It's locked so you can't mess up anything. BUT when you APP Unlock the phone, that free's up the ROM to be written to. But not by any OEM Apps. You have to download A program like Total Commander and install that. It lets you create shortcuts and see ROM files, etc....  anyway.. I hope it works for you. My BlackJack I607 is a bastard. Lol. The bluetooth is HORRENDOUS! I want to voice dial and I can't, att did not include the software to do it over Bluetooth, and they removed Voice Command dialing from WM6. They suck. But at least I can still dial hands free, it's a lot easier than clickin' everywhere!!

If you would like Voice Command 1.6 it's on BjCentral.org  it's a neat site, and you can download and install it.

Hope this helped!
