I have a HTC P3300 (T Mobile). I tried to unlock it with a software, after the reinstall it ran the initial setup and asked for a password. I was in a hurry and just pressed the OK along with some keys which I've forgotten on the password area and it got saved.

Now I dont know what the password is and it asks for the pass first thing when it turns on. Any ideas, how can I remove the password.

p.s. It gives the hint as '123ae' if it could help in anyway.

This sounds dodgy to me. Anyone lost a phone with that password hint?

You define the password and the hint, so that really doesn't help!
