Finally -- a WM smartphone with blinking alert lights; this is what the Navigation Wheel alerts are configured to do:

Phone ringing The light flashes on with 3 quick pulses and then fades off.
New E-mail Breathing (the light cycles between fading on and
fading off ).
New Text Message Long Flashing (the light flashes on every three seconds,
repeating three times).
New Voice Message Short Flashing (the light flashes on every second, repeating
three times).
Power On The light slowly fades on and then slowly fades off.

I'd like the blinking to go on continuously until I hit a button; like my old Motorola phone did.  With the screen off/locked -- it would be great to see the nav-wheel light blinking for new messages, voicemail, missed calls, etc...

I looked through the registry -- no clue...

I think I definitely need one of these, lots of tweaking to be done

Yes -- the center light ring is very slick, would be nice if it did that 'breathing' thing every 10 seconds or so until you open the device or hit a key...

Have you had a chance to look at the registry yet?  Any ideas how we can tweak the NavWheel alerts?

Nope, I bought a Shadow from the US, but it's not arrived yet.

It's going to encece, who is kindly forwarding it on to me!
