So, it was very thoughtful of Moto to provide Docs to Go on the Q9h.  But, my office has now "upgraded" to Office 2007 and the new docx, xpsx, etc. formats won't open on the version Moto provided.  Dataviz tells me the upgrade is $30.

Microsoft has released an update to Mobile Office that will open the 2007 formats, but it doesn't appear that Mobile Office was left on the Q.  Purchasing Mobile Office is $50.

Any free solution short of the awkward need to ask people to resave/resend documents so I can read them?

I dont know... But if you find one PM me... I am using Office6 for wm5 and its not upgradable..
