Scratches?

Not really sure if this directly applies to the shadow, but I think it's fit here. I've seemed to stumble upon a scratch inside of my Shadow's screen. It's not very big or too noticable, but things like this bug the hell out of me. I was wondering what could have caused this and how if I could, get rid of it. It's not directly on the surface on my screen, it's just a little nitch inside of it. Thanks in advance :(

Inside? Can't you get it exchanged?

P

i had the same problem butthat was because i dropped my phone. and because of its shape it fell straight flat on its face and got that lil scratch of annoying light under the screen. then the phone gave me more issues so i gave it a hard reset and its fixed it. the lil scratch is gone.

Similarly an ODD question. My wife removed the "crystal" case that she has to protect here Shadow, and apparently she pressed too hard on the screen because now there is a round "discolored" spot on the screen. It is hardly visible, however it bugs the hell out of her. I guess I need to get her a new screen right??? There is no degauss or any other "trick" to try to even out the screen again???

but how do you do the hard reset?

*Note* This will remove all information/applications/contacts/email/messages/etc. from your phone. It will reset it to factory defaults or ROM defaults if you have installed one other than T-Mobile's official rom.

1. Turn off the phone.

2. Press and hold the two soft keys (two buttons on the left and right just below the screen).

3. While pressing the soft keys press the power/hang up button for ~1.5 seconds.

4. It will ask you to press the green send key to confirm that you want to hard reset, so press it if you are sure.

5. Wait for it to reset and then load up. It will take a while and it might reboot itself a couple of times before you can use it as normal.
