I have a i607 that is stuck in the 'Phone Off' mode. If i go to the wireless manager to turn the phone part on it trys but it still stays off. If i do a *#1234# it displays the PDA s/w version but the Phone version is blank. I tried the samsung upgrade s/w that rebrands the phone from cingular to at&t, the PDA part upgrade worked but the Phone part fails. Seems like the Phone part of the firmware is gone. Everything else seems to work ok including connecting it to my pc with active sync. Anything else to try ?

I'm guessing it wasn't an official software. If I'm right:

1. Re-run the software
2. Get into upload mode (camera + right softkey then plug in usb)
3. Only upload the PHONE part, NOT EBOOT and NOT PDA.

This should work because I've had the same problem.

If it doesn't please can you upload a screen shot of the software you are using so I can assist you further.
