I've had my BJ II for not quite a week, but I notice that whenever I use the scrollwheel I get a 'pop' feeling w/sound around the 11 o'clock & 5 o'clock positions. It almost sounds like the wheel is running over something or coming slightly out of track and popping back on track.

Anyone else? I'll return it to AT&T for a replacement if not many are also having this problem (don't want to get stuck w/a broken device.)

TIA,
Tim

Definitely return it.  Mine does not do that.

Mine does the same thing.  Seems to work ok justs makes the pop sound.  What about your speaker level? My volume @ the loudest is not very loud. I was thinking of returning because of volume.

There is an option to turn off the wheel sound.  That is what you are hearing

I get that IF I push on the wheel while rotating. Try not leaning on the wheel while rotating. It requires no no pressure.

Thanks all for the advise, but I returned it to AT&T for an exchange of another device.

This second device does not have the pop feel in the scrollwheel like my first one...so beware.

When I bought mine 3 days ago, by default you don't have a sound on the scrollwheel you actually have to turn it on.
It will pop everytime you go to a new area by scrolling.  If this is not the case, would someone please let me know. So I can return it.

Mine makes no noise unless I press so hard that it makes the wheel more work to use then just pressing the button.  And even then, it's so quiet a sound, it's not really noticeable.   This is with the default settings - wheels sounds off.

Same with me, at first I thought I wasn't going to like it (Due to it being so loose) but I use it all the time. It's completely silent though by default.

Same here....funny thing is now when I try to use my old phone, I keep trying to spin the dpad....I found that I really like the wheel :(
