I also had this problem but this is not a big deal for me.  I have changed my today screen and constantly using "tasks" to clean up programs, so I usually have around 7M of free memory, and that could run most of my programs.  The S730 is not my primary phone

Any news on the infamous "memory issues" as of now? Planning a purchase of HTC S730 pretty soon.

It seems that it's common problem of this phone?! Maybe after contact the producer they will give the official solution....
