I went and bought a bluetooth headset last night and, much to my dismay, discovered that I couldn't figure out how to push all audio through the headset. When I would initiate a call of course the headset would come to life, but as soon as I ended the call, all audio went back through the main speaker on the phone.

I really, really want to be able to discreetly watch the Seahawks game tomorrow (from work) with slingbox, but I must get this figured out to get it to work.

I'm not opposed to taking back the headset and buying another accessory if one will do what I need.

Thanks for any help.

Stereo BT headset? Not sure why your having this issue unless you are not using a stero BT headset. I watch movies and listen to my streaming XM radio through my headset with no problems.

No, I just purchased one of those in the ear things from Jabra. What is the model of your headset? Does it come with a mic to handle calls as well?

Some come with a mic.  But it's not going to work how you want unless its stereo.  The single ones only connect as a headset.  The stereo ones connect as headphones and all audio is output through them.

What he said.

I am using a motorola s9. It has a mic for calls. The stereo quality is good (not GREAT) and handling calls is okay. You need to be in a quiet enviornment for them to work GOOD.

I have this same problem also with my Jabra 8010 Stereo headset where I'll end a call with them on and then try to listen to music, and the music will revert back to the BJ2 speaker.  I have to disconnect and reconnect the "stereo headset" manually on the phone in order to get the headphones to work again for music.

Anyone have a fix for this?  Thx.
