The following instructions will allow you to view (hidden) phone files via ActiveSync:
Open 'My Documents' folder on PC > Click Tools > Folder Options > View tab > Show Hidden files and folders.

k i got it to show, damn vista, i had to uncheck 'hide protected operating system files'
