  • Interests:The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

The version I have of TCPMP has it in the association settings but when you go to play it says it has been removed because of liscensing issues. Listening to MP3 instead.

Cant comment in the Main News Item. Cant comment in the Enhanced version but can comment here? A bit cumbersome I think. Any better way to do that?

Also....the list of topics is shorter in the MP3 thread than in the M4A thread, suggesting one is a shorter show than the other.

I completely agree the '3 different topics' is far from ideal, but that'll be fixed for next weeks episode.

Apparently an issue with the encoded bitrate, which we can fix next time!

It's in this topic:

Without iTunes, not sure you'll get anything enhanced!

The feed URL http://feeds.feedbur.../MoDaCoPodcast shows episode 1 as the MP3 and episode 2 as the M4A. Are you going to have 2 feeds, one for each version?

I'm using BeyondPod on the WMD to download my feeds, and it downloaded the M4A but can't play it.  :)

Likewise, the feed (and iTunes that uses the feed) shows both versions for me, normal and enhanced!

Sounds like your reader is doing something odd?

If you install TCPMP and can tell BeyondPod to launch into that, it should work? That said, without the ability to use the enhanced content, there's little point...?

How weird! I've just rechecked the feed in both BeyondPod on the device and IE7 on the PC and both are now showing both versions of podcast 2. Either I'm going mad (quite possible  :)) or there was a temporary glitch. I'll see what happens this Friday.

Hi Paul and Monolithix

Just listened to the podcast at work. Wasnt sure if my questions would make it as I was expecting more questions. Cant believe mine were the only ones!

Bit embarrassed actually, as I was at work at the time and all of a sudden something was happening which made me look and lose all chain of thought! That bang was a door, so Im ok, and thanks for your concern!!!!

Something that might be a bit of a hit is perhaps getting an interview with someone from microsoft to do with the platform?

Another thing I am interested in right now is programs that enable me to do lots of cool stuff with my windows home server. At the moment I am having real trouble with webguide, I have managed to now at least log on but I cannot get it to stream video for love nor money, no matter what encoding codec I use. I have tried ffdshow and powerdvd.

Ill raise this in the correct topic but at this present time this is something I am constantly looking towards.

Thanks

Phill

Windows Mobile Silver Specialist 2011. Because I cant find the fricking gold version to do anywhere!!!
